Световая инсталляция

Новосибирск - один из крупнейших научных центров России. Моя идея заключается в соединении искусства и науки для создания общественного Сознания. Пространственная световая инсталляция, собранная из очень простых светодиодов, показывает лица основных членов движения русского конструктивизма, в первую очередь Эль Лисицкого. Этих световые композиции подают визуальную информацию под определённым углом, заставляя наблюдателя обойти вокруг.

Инсталляция может быть безопасно установлена в исторических зданиях, а также в забро¬шенных местах Новосибирска, что привлечёт туда народ и туристов.

Light Installation

The Novosibirsk Region is one of Russia’s largest scientific centres, and has held a leading position in science and technology For over 50 years with a population in the region of 26 million.

My idea is a collaborating between Art and Science to create public Awareness. It will highlight the Future of Novosibirsk through the regions scientific developments and investments whiles education of its Historic Artistic past. This idea was mainly influence by a quote a read by El Lissitzky.

"Suprematism has advanced the ultimate tip of the visual pyramid of perspective into infinity.... We see that Suprematism has swept away from the plane the illusions of two-­‐dimensional planimetric space, the illusions of three-­‐dimensional perspective space, and has created the ultimate illusion of irrational space, with its infinite extensibility into the background and foreground."

I was trying to recreate the same illusion he achieved with his painting on a 2-dimensional surface but within a 3-Dimensional space. Light installation composed of very simple arrangements LED lights forming the face faces of the leading members of the Russian constructivist movement mainly El Lissitzky. These light arrangements will have no form and without any hint of perspective will reveal visual information at specific angles, enticing the viewer to move round. They can also interact with the lights as shown in the image above.

Location. This installation can be securely set up and exhibited in Historic buildings, abandoned areas in Novosibirsk attracting members of the public and tourist to these areas.
